AI & Tech in the Wine industry
A beautiful setting for a forward-looking conversation
Last Friday, we kicked off 2026 at the stunning Louis M Martini Winery, bringing together the wine community to explore AI & Tech in the Wine Industry.
With insights from Kia Behnia (Scout), Dan Petroski (Massican Winery), and Alexandre Remy (Atlas Vineyard Management, Inc. ), the panel highlighted both the opportunities and the tensions AI brings to a craft rooted in terroir and creativity.
Key takeaways: AI is a powerful tool for the science of wine, from vineyard intelligence and yield forecasting to consumer insights and brand messaging. BUT creativity, ethics, and judgment remain deeply human.
As one panelist put it: AI produces data, not greatness. Curiosity is our superpower.
Thank you to our panelists, our hosts at Louis M. Martini Winery, and everyone who joined us for this inspiring evening.
Finally, a big shoutout to our amazing Grape Circle Committee for putting this event together!
